The fabric is designed to stand the test of time – it’s the same material used by car manufacturers to make airbags. Monochrome and logo-free, they are very stylish. The trainer has a rubber sole with contrasting notches.

The co-founders of Spalwart, Christoffer Battin and Fredrik Johansson, decided to establish their own shoe brand in 2010 inspired by a chance visit to a Slovakian shoe factory where they discovered moulds and equipment from the 1950s.
